Description: AIP-Algeria - FIR obstacles - Area 1 Detailed description of obstacles in the areas stated in CSV obstacle data DAAA_OBS_AR01 Format: CSV (Comma Separated Values) that uses a semicolon to separate values Obstacle attributes (including metadata of each obstacle): -ID_Point: Obstacle identification or designation -Latitude: Obstacle latitude, represented by geographical coordinates in degrees, minutes and seconds (N/S) -Longitude: Obstacle longitude, represented by geographical coordinates in degrees, minutes and seconds (W/E) -Elevation: Vertical distance of the highest point of the obstacle measured from mean sea level -Vertical_Accuracy: Vertical accuracy - with regards to the elevation, the degree of conformance between the estimated or measured value and the true value -Horzental_Accuracy: Horizontal accuracy - with regards to the horizontal position, the degree of conformance between the estimated or measured value and the true value -Horizontal_confidence_level: Horizontal confidence level - with regards to the horizontal position, the probability that the true value is within a certain interval around the estimate of its value must be stated as a percentage -Vertical_Confidence_Level: Vertical confidence level - with regards to the elevation, the probability that the true value is within a certain interval around the estimate of its value must be stated as a percentage -Height: Vertical distance from the terrain surface to the highest point of the obstacle -Unit: Unit of measurement used (m - meters) -Horzental_Resolution: The number of decimal places for the recording of the position (Use of more decimal places provides for higher resolution) -Vertical_Resolution: The number of decimal places for the recording of the elevation (use of more decimal places provides for higher resolution) -GeometryType: Geometry type (Point,PolyLine or Polygon) -Integrity: indicating the probability of any single data element having been changed inadvertently since the creation of the data set (Yes or No) -Obstacle_type: Obstacle type is a description of the recorded obstacle (tower, building, ALS Light...) -Lighting: Lighting (Yes, White, Red, Blue, Yellow or No) -Marking: Marking (Yes or No) -Frangibility: Frangible (Yes or No) -Area of coverage: Description used to identify the boundary of obstacle data (area under consideration) -Data originator identifier: Data originator identifier uniquely identifies the obstacle data originator -Horizontal reference system: The horizontal reference system is the datum to which the positions of the data points are referenced (WGS84) -Vertical reference system: The vertical reference system is the datum to which the elevation values are referenced (MSL) -Date and Time: Time stamps are information about the origination or modification date and time of the data set -Effectivity: (permanent or temporary) -Horizental_Extent: The horizontal extent is the footprint of or the area subtended by the obstacle -MeasurementType: Measurement type (GPS/GLONASS) Lineage: The obstacle data is sourced from the AIS operator in the form of an CSV file. Limitations on Data Use: The datasets contain metadata that enable assessment of their compliance with the numerical requirements specified in ICAO Annex 15. This metadata should be utilized to determine whether the data products are suitable for their intended purpose. The datasets are to be considered as non-exhaustive obstacle data, which is updated every AIRAC amendment when necessary.
